2012 Hunter Sight-In Weekends

What is Hunter Sight-In Weekends? SRPA opens the 100 yard rifle range to the public for only four weekends a year (and the 200-300 yard range ONE DAY ONLY) to get your rifles in shape for hunting season! We are trying our best to keep the folks out of the backwoods and gravel pits for sighting in their rifles every year.

2012 Hunter Long Range (200/300 yd) Sight-In Date:

  • Register at SRPA Clubhouse from 7:30 to 8:30 AM
  • Sept. 15th: Mandatory Safety and SOP briefing at 8:30 AM

    • 2012 Hunter 100 yd Sight-In Dates (All Sat/Sun):
  • Sept. 22th, 23rd
  • Sept. 29th, 30th
  • Oct. 6th, 7th
  • Oct. 13th, 14th

    • Cost is $10.00 per person. Cost includes two (2) targets. Additional targets are $0.25 each. Action open indicator flags are required. You can rent or purchase ($1.50 ea) for these onsite. Bench rests are available.

    Hours Open to the public will be from 9:30am to 3:00pm.

    SRPA Member Volunteers will be on hand to help. Bore sighting is available at no charge.

    Please note the following:

  • No 50 cal weapons. No exceptions.
  • No handguns. Handgun range will NOT be available on these weekends.
  • No ammo available for sale onsite. Bring your own.
  • Please bring your own snacks/refreshments (no alcohol!)
  • Please clean up your own shell casings in your assigned firing bay. Thank you!
